When Citrus Springs AFC's Ahmed Belhadj in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wheaton's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Wheaton's Kamel Khaldi got control of the ball when Mamaar Kerkar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdelaziz Matoub struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ali Djamel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wheaton. Rabah Boutella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Djamel having to interfere. When Chaba Belkacem came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Citrus Springs AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaba Belkacem couldn't finish the play. Kamel Khaldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mamaar Kerkar in the 36th minute. Wheaton's Kamel Khaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Belhadj in the 39th minute of play. Abdelaziz Matoub took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Djamel. Ali Djamel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, Citrus Springs AFC's Ahmed Belhadj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamel Khaldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelaziz Matoub stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mamaar Kerkar came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Citrus Springs AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mamaar Kerkar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Wheaton's Abderraouf Bilal got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rabah Boutella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Djamel having to interfere. Mouloud Djamel's late challenge caught a Wheaton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mouloud Djamel helped the player get up and apologised. Mouloud Djamel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Abdelaziz Matoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Djamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelaziz Matoub in the 72nd minute of the match. Abdelaziz Matoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ali Djamel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Mamaar Kerkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamel Khaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Belhadj in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamel Khaldi saved Wheaton from getting behind. When Mohamed Zaoui fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wheaton's protests and gave Mohamed Zaoui a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wheaton getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mohamed Zaoui hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Citrus Springs AFC got a corner. Wheaton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mourad Bilal ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Ahmed Belhadj to score against Kamel Khaldi in Wheaton's goal. 1-1 after 87 minutes. If Abdelaziz Matoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Abdelaziz Matoub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Djamel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
