Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in East Quogue AFC's zone, Nordine Lamine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fateh Khalef came out of the goal and Nordine Lamine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, La Mesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Ben Bella to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 8 minutes, Chaba Mihoubi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Quogue AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaba Mihoubi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nordine Lamine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fateh Khalef made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Megharia in the 14th minute of play forced East Quogue AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Khalef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheb Bougherra during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lakhdar Djaout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mebarek Djaout having to interfere. The supporters of East Quogue AFC booed when La Mesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kassel Zitouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cheb Megharia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaba Mihoubi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lakhdar Djaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Chaba Mihoubi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mebarek Djaout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chaba Mihoubi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Megharia in the 53rd minute of play forced East Quogue AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Khalef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheb Megharia in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fateh Khalef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th match minute, La Mesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Aziz to maneuver through the defense. Chaba Mihoubi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. East Quogue AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lakhdar Djaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, La Mesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Méniri to maneuver through the defense. If Chaba Mihoubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mesa's goalkeeper Mebarek Djaout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. La Mesa's Mebarek Djaout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save La Mesa from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, La Mesa's Mebarek Djaout got control of the ball when Lakhdar Djaout tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakhdar Djaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mebarek Djaout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaba Mihoubi in the 86th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, La Mesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Aziz to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
