Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehdi Dahleb started the match with the kick off. When Meziane Zemmamouche fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glen Ridge's protests and gave Meziane Zemmamouche a yellow card for diving instead. Meziane Zemmamouche hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Abernathy FC's Mohammad Kaci Djebbour got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Meziane Zemmamouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mohammad Kaci Djebbour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoheir Zaaboub charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoheir Zaaboub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glen Ridge getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zoheir Zaaboub hit a great ball. During the 16th minute of the match Zoheir Zaaboub completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zoheir Zaaboub a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zoheir Zaaboub hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ali Zeghdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammed Ahmed Boulahfane during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Abernathy FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mohammed Ahmed Boulahfane hit a great ball. Abernathy FC's Mohammad Kaci Djebbour got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Glen Ridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meziane Zemmamouche to maneuver through the defense. Mouloud Bitat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Abernathy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Khadra to maneuver through the defense. Ali Zeghdoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Hemza Kouici made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Glen Ridge's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Kaci Djebbour came free, but Hamza Amara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mouloud Bitat to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ali Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hemza Kouici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Zeghdoud in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abernathy FC's Moulay Brahimi got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mourad Khadra lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Glen Ridge. Lili Djebbour stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hemza Kouici. 1-0. Hemza Kouici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Zeghdoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammad Kaci Djebbour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Moulay Brahimi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abernathy FC's protests and gave Moulay Brahimi a yellow card for diving instead. Moulay Brahimi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Mohammad Kaci Djebbour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meziane Zemmamouche was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Abernathy FC booed when Glen Ridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meziane Zemmamouche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moulay Brahimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abernathy FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glen Ridge.
