Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rachid Soltani started the match with the kick off. Nasser Mamouni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alain Kensi came out and tried to block the shot, but Nasser Mamouni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Gaylord's Karim Benbitour got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 14th minute, Fadel Belfaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rachid Belhadj, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Clarksdale fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Clarksdale's Rachid Soltani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute, Abdelaziz Bencherif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gaylord's Rachid Belhadj tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mohamed Meskine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasser Kouici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mohamed Diss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Farès Khaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Rachid Soltani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clarksdale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Soltani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Meskine to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaylord's Nasser Kouici was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nasser Mamouni struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alain Kensi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarksdale. In the 61st minute, Mohamed Meskine fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nasser Mamouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Kensi having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Gaylord's Nasser Kouici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohamed Diss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Clarksdale's Farès Khaldi got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Gaylord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Benbitour to maneuver through the defense. Alain Kensi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Soltani in the 83rd minute of play. Mohamed Meskine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohamed Diss having to make a save. If Nasser Kouici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaylord's Mohamed Meskine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mohamed Diss. That made the score 2-3 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gaylord had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
