Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mouloud N'Soumer started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes, Hamid Drid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirksville and the Sleepy Hollow AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdel Sam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Mouloud N'Soumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sleepy Hollow AFC's Noureddine Djebbour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sleepy Hollow AFC's Noureddine Djebbour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud N'Soumer in the 12th minute of play. Mouloud N'Soumer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Ben Oussalah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Djebbour having to interfere. In the 18th minute Abdel Sam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Saci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Kirksville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Rimitti to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Noureddine Djebbour managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Kirksville's Mohamed Ben Oussalah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. René Saci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Dahleb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mohamed Ben Oussalah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Mansour Dahleb notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kirksville's René Saci. René Saci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Hamid Drid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noureddine Djebbour was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Kirksville's Mouloud N'Soumer in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sleepy Hollow AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sleepy Hollow AFC's zone, Mouloud N'Soumer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Djebbour came out of the goal and Mouloud N'Soumer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Sleepy Hollow AFC's Mansour Dahleb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that René Saci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Sleepy Hollow AFC's René Saci threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdel Sam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Abdel Sam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sleepy Hollow AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mansour Dahleb struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. René Saci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sleepy Hollow AFC. When Mohamed Ben Oussalah came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kirksville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Ben Oussalah couldn't finish the play. If Mouloud N'Soumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Ben Oussalah struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Noureddine Djebbour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirksville. Noureddine Djebbour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud N'Soumer in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Sleepy Hollow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdel Sam. In the 78thth minute of the game Mouloud N'Soumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sleepy Hollow AFC's Noureddine Djebbour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mouloud Allalou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mouloud N'Soumer came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kirksville fans jumped to their feet. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sleepy Hollow AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
