Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun started the match with the kick off. Yazid Tahar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nordine Medjiba went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th match minute, Laughlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Bougherra to maneuver through the defense. Smail Guendouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fergani El-Hadi in the 15th minute of play. Nordine Medjiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Tahar having to interfere. Yazid Tahar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun in the 27th minute of play. Fergani El-Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Smail Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Smail Bougherra fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laughlin's protests and gave Smail Bougherra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laughlin's Smail Bougherra got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Fergani El-Hadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Smail Guendouz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Owensboro AFC's zone, Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yazid Tahar came out of the goal and Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Belloumi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fergani El-Hadi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nordine Medjiba in the 56th minute of play forced Owensboro AFC's goalkeeper Yazid Tahar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Tahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nordine Medjiba, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Laughlin's zone, Fergani El-Hadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Smail Guendouz came out of the goal and Fergani El-Hadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Zahouania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fergani El-Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Yazid Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laughlin's Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laughlin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodil Kerkar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Medjadi Semghoun in the 80th minute of play forced Owensboro AFC's goalkeeper Yazid Tahar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Smail Guendouz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laughlin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
