Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yasmina Belloumi got the match started through his kick off. Jussef Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daho Laref, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rafik Benida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jussef Kader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Newport AFC's Rafik Benida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jussef Kader made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Antoine Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Mérah-Benida having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sonora AFC's Souad Ammour got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes Newport AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Benida. Antoine Madjer charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoine Madjer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Rafik Benida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jussef Kader. The goal made the score 2-0. After 38 minutes, El Khadra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newport AFC and the Sonora AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 53 minutes, Rafik Benida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newport AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafik Benida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daho Laref had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafik Benida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jussef Kader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Jussef Kader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daho Laref went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, Sonora AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Madjer to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Daho Laref's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jussef Kader was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Antoine Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antoine Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
