After 10 played minutes, Meiners Oaks's Robert Kaci Said shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafik Zoheir Fahima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meiners Oaks reached it. Rafik Zoheir Fahima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Smail Morceli in the 12th minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafik Zoheir Fahima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rachid Medjiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhani Cohen having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
