Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bisbee's Daho Zeghdoud started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mamaar Boulmerka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daho Zeghdoud's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, one of Bisbee:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bisbee. El Moussa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madjid Makkeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mamaar Boulmerka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bisbee's Edmond Meniri got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madjid Makkeb in the 22nd minute of play forced Ashland City's goalkeeper Mamaar Boulmerka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Madjid Makkeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mamaar Boulmerka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Madjid Makkeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hameur Benmabrouk struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Boubekeur Hanin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashland City. El Moussa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Boubekeur Hanin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Hameur Benmabrouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Bisbee's goal looked a bit too open when Hameur Benmabrouk came free, but Boubekeur Hanin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Madjid Makkeb came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bisbee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Madjid Makkeb couldn't finish the play. If Daho Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Boubekeur Hanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Moussa in the 51st minute of play. When Bisbee's Daho Zeghdoud in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashland City's goalie prevented a goal. Madjid Makkeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mamaar Boulmerka having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hameur Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashland City's supporters rose to their feet, but Hameur Benmabrouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boubekeur Hanin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Houari Toumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bisbee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashland City the free kick. Hameur Benmabrouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hameur Benmabrouk's late challenge caught a Bisbee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hameur Benmabrouk helped the player get up and apologised. Hameur Benmabrouk hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ahmed Haddadj hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bisbee booed when Ashland City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hameur Benmabrouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Moussa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Boubekeur Hanin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashland City. If El Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bisbee's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
