After a defensive mix-up in Millinocket FC's zone, Mohamed Khalef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Laura Douibi came out of the goal and Mohamed Khalef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Khalef scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustapha Laura Douibi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mourad El-Kenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mourad El-Kenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knodi Lamine Kab was relentless in the 26th minute of the game.
