In the 12th minute Mohamed Cohen-Tannoudji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Menguellet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafik Medjoudj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Billel Mamouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abderrahmane Achiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Rafik Medjoudj sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ojai's Billel Mamouni didn't even have to move. Safy Bezzaz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Safy Bezzaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Abderrahmane Achiu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pittsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abderrahmane Achiu couldn't finish the play. Rafik Medjoudj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billel Mamouni having to interfere. In the 38th minute Abderrahmane Achiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billel Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adlène Bougherra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ojai's goalkeeper Billel Mamouni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Cohen-Tannoudji in the 43rd minute of play forced Pittsburg's goalkeeper Rabah Menguellet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ojai's Billel Mamouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahmane Achiu in the 102nd minute of play. Chants of Ojai echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pittsburg had held the ball for most of the match.
