The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rachid Ben Bella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Amara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Zoheir Chebal in the 11th minute of play forced Charlottesville AFC's goalkeeper Fodil Seghiri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafik Zoheir Chebal in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodil Seghiri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Yazid Khelaifia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Charlottesville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Zoheir Chebal came free, but Fodil Seghiri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Abdel Macias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rachid Ben Bella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafik Zoheir Chebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Charlottesville AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. El Skif hit a great ball. Brahim Zidane, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Rachid Meriem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moapa Valley AFC's Rachid Ben Bella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rachid Ben Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Meriem in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Yazid Khelaifia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rafik Zoheir Chebal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Moapa Valley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafik Zoheir Chebal couldn't finish the play. When Rachid Meriem came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Charlottesville AFC fans jumped to their feet. Fodil Seghiri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Zoheir Chebal in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rachid Meriem made the kick off in the second half. If Rafik Zoheir Chebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play, Moapa Valley AFC's Rafik Zoheir Chebal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodil Seghiri was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Meriem in the 60th minute of play forced Moapa Valley AFC's goalkeeper Rachid Ben Bella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moapa Valley AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fergani Bezzaz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mimoun Ouid Zarabi during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mimoun Ouid Zarabi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Kamel Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Ben Bella having to interfere. Charlottesville AFC's Kamel Amara got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rafik Zoheir Chebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moapa Valley AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
