Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nabil Boulebda made the kick off which started today's match. Nabil Boulebda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Said Badis having to make a save. Edmond Aarache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Badis having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Edmond Aarache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottawa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Aarache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hameur Boudjedra made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Rabah Morceli sent off a good shot on target. Abdelnasser Kerkar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rabah Morceli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Hameur Boudjedra made a huge save. Hameur Boudjedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farid Kermali in the 31st minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Redland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khair ad-Din Skif came free, but Said Badis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Rabah Morceli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Farid Kermali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Farid Kermali was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ottawa AFC's zone, Rabah Morceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hameur Boudjedra came out of the goal and Rabah Morceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Said Badis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nabil Boulebda, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Rabah Morceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hameur Boudjedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nabil Boulebda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Redland FC's Farid Kermali in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ottawa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Said Badis came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ottawa AFC's Edmond Aarache. But to his dismay, Edmond Aarache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 86th minute Rabah Morceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hameur Boudjedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Farid Kermali in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hameur Boudjedra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nabil Boulebda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Said Badis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Badis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazhar Yacef in the 92nd minute of play. Ottawa AFC played a much better game than Redland FC and deserved their victory. The Redland FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
