Edmond Nekkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nouredine El-Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Farès Hanister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fawzi Abdessalam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fawzi Abdessalam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edmond Nekkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 63rd minute, Nouredine El-Hadi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edmond Nekkar, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Farès Hanister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morrisville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Farès Hanister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Smail Kacha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Fodil Mimoun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Morrisville AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
