Morrisville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independence AFC the free kick. A collision led to Morrisville AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Daham hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Independence AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Bencheikh. 23 minutes into the game, Farès Hanister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morrisville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independence AFC the free kick. Farès Hanister hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Benyamina in the 25th minute of play forced Independence AFC's goalkeeper Maamar Benaouf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morrisville AFC's Farès Hanister got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Farès Hanister made the kick off in the second half. Maamar Benaouf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farès Hanister in the 51st minute of the match. Farès Hanister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tayeb Dib came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Independence AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayeb Dib couldn't finish the play. Albert Benhamou hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play Morrisville AFC's Mohamed Ben Ahmed Daham was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 61st match minute, Morrisville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Ben Ahmed Daham to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Independence AFC's Albert Benhamou seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Albert Benhamou the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Independence AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albert Benhamou had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After having played for 96 minutes, Meziane Kheyari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrisville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meziane Kheyari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Independence AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Morrisville AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Morrisville AFC.
