After a rather tough play, Lawrenceburg AFC's Boudjemaa Cherrad got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Rachid Gallaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelaziz Moussa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lawrenceburg AFC's Boudjemaa Cherrad got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rabah Meskine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Gallaire in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Abdelaziz Moussa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Meskine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rabah Meskine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelaziz Moussa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alain Mammeri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of El Ulansi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. El Ulansi made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Alain Mammeri sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Robert Toumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lawrenceburg AFC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Ceres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Toumi to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Ceres's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz Moussa came free, but Rabah Meskine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Abdelaziz Moussa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lawrenceburg AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelaziz Moussa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Rachid Gallaire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelaziz Moussa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rabah Meskine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Mammeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belaid Belkheir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abdelaziz Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Gallaire might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rabah Meskine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lawrenceburg AFC's Rachid Gallaire got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rabah Meskine was a little too slow when Abdelaziz Moussa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-2. Lawrenceburg AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
