Dida Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yazid Moussa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Amirouche's late challenge caught a Mamou FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Amirouche helped the player get up and apologised. Charles Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Madouni having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, McAlester AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafik Zoheir Bella to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mamou FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zīn ud-Dīn Hemdani hit a great ball. Yazid Moussa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mohamed Matoub sent off a good shot on target. In the 25thth minute of the game Dida Zidane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamou FC's Yazid Moussa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mohamed Matoub received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yazid Moussa came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohamed Matoub slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. McAlester AFC's Smail Madouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Bougherra in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Mamou FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Achiu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Mohamed Matoub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McAlester AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Matoub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Mamou FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faouzi Fergani to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Matoub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Smail Madouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Ahmed, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Zidane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Smail Madouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zīn ud-Dīn Ahmed's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Mohamed Matoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Yazid Moussa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Zidane took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yazid Moussa. Yazid Moussa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 64th match minute, McAlester AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafik Zoheir Bella to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Mamou FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Bougherra. Zīn ud-Dīn Ahmed struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Smail Madouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamou FC. If Mohamed Matoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zīn ud-Dīn Ahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Smail Madouni throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zīn ud-Dīn Ahmed in the 87thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Charles Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Madouni having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The McAlester AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mamou FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
