Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walid Gaouaoui started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Noureddine Ouadah had to leave the field with a concussion. Salah Menguellet charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salah Menguellet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dumbarton's Salah Menguellet got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Karim Zitouni hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Carleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walid Gaouaoui to maneuver through the defense. Larbi Ali who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Mimoun Megharia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ben Madjer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Reda Hamdoud fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mimoun Megharia, passed just outside the right post. If Larbi Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walid Gaouaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rachid Toumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Walid Gaouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Reda Hamdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammed Ahmed Mesbah kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A hard shot 29 in the game by Larbi Ali from a close distance when the talented Mimoun Megharia managed to make a qualified save. Carleton's players were relieved. Reda Hamdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mimoun Megharia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dumbarton's Reda Hamdoud in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carleton's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Walid Gaouaoui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carleton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Walid Bellemou Messaoud's late challenge caught a Dumbarton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walid Bellemou Messaoud helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reda Hamdoud to make the kick off. Larbi Ali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mimoun Megharia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Lazhar Boudiaf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Walid Gaouaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dumbarton's Rachid Toumi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dumbarton's Rachid Toumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walid Gaouaoui in the 72nd minute of play. Walid Gaouaoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rachid Toumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Dumbarton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walid Gaouaoui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th minute, Lazhar Boudiaf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Walid Gaouaoui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rachid Toumi. Walid Gaouaoui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Larbi Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dumbarton's supporters rose to their feet, but Larbi Ali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mimoun Megharia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reda Hamdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mimoun Megharia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carleton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
