With a little luck, Hanceville FC's Nabil Khaldi got control of the ball when Cheb Benflis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amar Bella came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hanceville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amar Bella couldn't finish the play. Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Rimitti having to interfere. Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Rimitti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi in the 31st minute of play forced Shamokin's goalkeeper Karim Rimitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Rimitti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zīn ud-Dīn Toumi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Chaba Sofiane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hanceville FC! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Abdelaziz Sellal's late challenge caught a Hanceville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelaziz Sellal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hanceville FC booed when Shamokin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Sellal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheb Benflis struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nabil Khaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shamokin. A collision led to Hanceville FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rabah Merzekane hit a great ball.
