The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Fodil Bouchemla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salim Guendouz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Ahmed Maillot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodil Bouchemla scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salim Guendouz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Khalida Kermali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mustapha Abdessalam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Kermali in the 34th minute of play. Salim Guendouz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Fodil Bouchemla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fodil Bouchemla really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Miamisburg AFC's Salim Guendouz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Miamisburg AFC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmed Maillot was the one to do the kick off. Khalida Kermali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mustapha Abdessalam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salim Guendouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Bouchemla in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Miamisburg AFC's Ben Raho got a free kick in the 56th minute. Salim Guendouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Bouchemla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Bouchemla in the 68th minute of play forced Miamisburg AFC's goalkeeper Salim Guendouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Mustapha Abdessalam got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Garden View hanging dry this time. Salim Guendouz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Bouchemla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Ahmed Maillot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mustapha Abdessalam, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Maillot in the 90th minute of play forced Garden View's goalkeeper Mustapha Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Ahmed Maillot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustapha Abdessalam. Ahmed Maillot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The Miamisburg AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Garden View from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
