West Valley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Noureddine Derrida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rachid Rahouli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Noureddine Derrida managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Valley's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Derrida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Rahouli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yasmina Djebar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Abdel Ghozali's late challenge caught a Los Fresnos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdel Ghozali helped the player get up and apologised. Abdel Ghozali hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mourad Yacine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Mourad Yacine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Souad Baroudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Mourad Yacine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Fresnos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mourad Yacine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noureddine Derrida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Abdelmalek Bessou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Valley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 52 minutes, Mustapha Kacha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Fresnos and the West Valley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Los Fresnos got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Kacha. After a rather tough play, West Valley's Noureddine Derrida got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Abdel Ghozali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mourad Yacine notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of West Valley's Souad Baroudi. Souad Baroudi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Yacine couldn't finish the play. Souad Baroudi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Yacine, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Los Fresnos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Kacha to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
