After some careless play in the Curwensville defense, Rabah Guendouz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fawzi Mezdad. The Curwensville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fawzi Mezdad should have stopped the shot. Farid Harkouk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adlène Rimitti's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Moulay Lemoui fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinckerhoff FC's protests and gave Moulay Lemoui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Moulay Lemoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farid Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Allalou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adlène Rimitti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Curwensville's Moulay Benhamou got a free kick in the 25th minute. Curwensville's Fawzi Mezdad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Curwensville from getting a goal against them. In the 29th match minute, Brinckerhoff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moulay Lemoui to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 30th minute Curwensville's Gilles Touhami took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Farid Harkouk and thus the score was 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Adlène Rimitti made a precise shot to the right of Farid Harkouk. Brinckerhoff FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 37 minutes into the game, Cheb Allalou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Farid Harkouk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Cheb Allalou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farid Harkouk. Brinckerhoff FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheb Allalou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Farid Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adlène Rimitti in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cheb Allalou was the one to do the kick off. Farid Harkouk was a little too slow when Cheb Allalou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-6. Cheb Allalou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Brinckerhoff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Bouziane to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Allalou in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farid Harkouk saved Brinckerhoff FC from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Curwensville's Cheb Allalou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Harkouk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Adlène Rimitti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Farid Harkouk made a huge save. In the 76thth minute of the game Cheb Allalou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinckerhoff FC's Farid Harkouk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Adlène Rimitti from a close distance when the talented Farid Harkouk managed to make a qualified save. Brinckerhoff FC's players were relieved. Cheb Allalou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curwensville's Fawzi Mezdad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhamid Bouziane in the 83rd minute of play. With his leg Farid Harkouk managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Curwensville's Adlène Rimitti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Farid Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Allalou, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Adlène Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Farid Harkouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
