When Mourad Meriem fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardmore AFC's protests and gave Mourad Meriem a yellow card for diving instead. Mourad Meriem kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Curwensville's Gilles Touhami couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ardmore AFC. Jussef Ben Ouyahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Allalou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jussef Ben Ouyahia made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Adlène Rimitti sent off a good shot on target. Ardmore AFC's Jussef Ben Ouyahia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ardmore AFC from getting a goal against them. If Adlène Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jussef Ben Ouyahia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Allalou went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Adlène Rimitti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Allalou in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jussef Ben Ouyahia saved Ardmore AFC from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Curwensville's Cheb Allalou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jussef Ben Ouyahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 46th minute, Cheb Allalou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fathi Brahami was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cheb Allalou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curwensville's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheb Allalou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jussef Ben Ouyahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheb Allalou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Ouyahia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cheb Allalou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jussef Ben Ouyahia was relentless in the 58th minute of the game.
