Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mimoun Bezzaz kicked off to start the match. Maamar Fanon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Assad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maamar Fanon made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Menad Assad sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th match minute, Gastonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Bourebbou to maneuver through the defense. When Rachid Benchenaa came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Agua Fria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rachid Benchenaa couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Karim Assad fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maamar Fanon, passed just outside the right post. Maamar Fanon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menad Assad in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Agua Fria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Amara to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Menad Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gastonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Menad Assad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maamar Fanon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Menad Assad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Assad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maamar Fanon having to make a save. Rabah Azem kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kateb Mezdad kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rachid Benchenaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Zidān having to interfere. Maamar Fanon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menad Assad in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Amara in the 42nd minute of play forced Gastonia's goalkeeper Mouloud Zidān to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Agua Fria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Amara to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Karim Assad made the kick off in the second half. Gastonia's Mouloud Zidān played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mimoun Bezzaz in the 59th minute of play. Karim Assad took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maamar Fanon. Maamar Fanon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agua Fria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Farès Otman was slow to take the kick. During this time Gastonia's players had a chance to rest. Menad Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maamar Fanon having to interfere. The Gastonia fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Gastonia's Karim Assad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mimoun Bezzaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mouloud Zidān tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mouloud Zidān showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mimoun Bezzaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rachid Benchenaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mouloud Zidān having to make a save. Mouloud Zidān showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mimoun Bezzaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gastonia had won after a very even match.
