Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belaid Fadela started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Yacine Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richmond Hill AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yacine Boulmerka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes West Reading got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Sifi. Abdel Bouzid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacine Boulmerka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, West Reading's Nassim Sellal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mouloud Sadmi. Mouloud Sadmi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Leon Fanon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Slimane Méniri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nassim Sellal might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mouloud Sadmi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nassim Sellal ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdel Bouzid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacine Boulmerka in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belaid Fadela in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdel Bouzid saved West Reading from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, one of Richmond Hill AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, West Reading's Amar Harkat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mouloud Sadmi. West Reading's Abdel Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belaid Fadela in the 46th minute of play. Mouloud Sadmi was a little too slow when Leon Fanon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nassim Sellal was the one to do the kick off. Yacine Boulmerka struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Abdel Bouzid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richmond Hill AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yacine Boulmerka got free with Abdel Bouzid in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Richmond Hill AFC's Slimane Méniri got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Richmond Hill AFC's Mouloud Sadmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Sellal in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, West Reading's Amar Harkat got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belaid Fadela in the 67th minute of play forced West Reading's goalkeeper Abdel Bouzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Nassim Sellal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Richmond Hill AFC's Mouloud Sadmi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Fanon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mouloud Sadmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yacine Boulmerka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Abdel Bouzid skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute Nassim Sellal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Sadmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nassim Sellal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West Reading's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
