The referee ignored Adelphi FC's protests and gave Chadli Karim Belkassem a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Chadli Karim Belkassem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Soltani Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasdi Maroc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abd al-Aziz Brahami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soltani Zaaboub hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Hamid Hamruche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Abd al-Aziz Brahami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adelphi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd al-Aziz Brahami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalida Zitouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abd al-Aziz Brahami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 72 minutes, Amar Moussa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adelphi FC and the Carrington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, one of Adelphi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adelphi FC. Kasdi Maroc had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Noureddine Liegeon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chaba Menguellet during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carrington AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Chaba Menguellet hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Carrington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Hamruche came free, but Khalida Zitouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Abd al-Aziz Brahami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamid Hamruche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Khalida Zitouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abd al-Aziz Brahami got free with Khalida Zitouni in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
