Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florentino Abancens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chakib El-Hadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Besseghir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glen Raven's Zīn ud-Dīn Iles suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ahmed Merzekane charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Merzekane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmed Merzekane hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Mansour Toumi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, New Egypt AFC's Ahmed Merzekane got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Mohamed Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Ahmed Merzekane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, New Egypt AFC's Florentino Abancens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammed El-Hadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Ahmed Merzekane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Glen Raven's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florentino Abancens fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fodil Al-Jazairia made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Mansour Toumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Egypt AFC's Mansour Toumi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glen Raven's Mohammed El-Hadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Abancens in the 62nd minute of play. Salah Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed El-Hadi having to interfere. The supporters of Glen Raven booed when New Egypt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansour Toumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mansour Toumi managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Egypt AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mansour Toumi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammed El-Hadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Toumi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Florentino Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fodil Al-Jazairia got free with Chakib El-Hadi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fodil Al-Jazairia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Egypt AFC had played much better football throughout.
