Abdelnacer Djamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. El Mohamed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chadli Guendouz in the 24th minute of play forced Saginaw Township South's goalkeeper Fouad Guendouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saginaw Township South's Fouad Guendouz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Saginaw Township South from getting a goal against them. Samir Amsallem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without El Mohamed having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Mohammed Soltani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romoland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammed Soltani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chadli Guendouz made a kick off. Samir Amsallem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samir Amsallem in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg El Mohamed saved Romoland from getting behind. Samir Amsallem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but El Mohamed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Mohammed Soltani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Chadli Guendouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chadli Guendouz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Mohammed Soltani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fouad Guendouz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Chadli Guendouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohammed Soltani scored 1-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fouad Guendouz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. El Mohamed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Amsallem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saginaw Township South succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Romoland had controlled the match.
