After having played for 13 minutes, Sofiane Abdelghani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valley Stream FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofiane Abdelghani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Abd el Hamid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rachid Lacen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Valley Stream FC's Mokdad Zarabi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hocine Lamine kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Nordine Dziri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Soltani having to interfere. When Abd el Hamid came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Plainwell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abd el Hamid couldn't finish the play. Nordine Dziri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Nordine Dziri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Soltani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sofiane Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Plainwell's goal looked a bit too open when Sofiane Abdelghani came free, but Nadir Saïd-Guerni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valley Stream FC's Hocine Lamine got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nordine Dziri was the one to do the kick off. Plainwell were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Valley Stream FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kader Chaouchi took the corner. Nadir Saïd-Guerni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiane Abdelghani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Hocine Lamine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valley Stream FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine Lamine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sofiane Abdelghani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nadir Saïd-Guerni was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Plainwell's Nadir Saïd-Guerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Abdelghani in the 78th minute of play. If Hocine Lamine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hocine Lamine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofiane Abdelghani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Abd el Hamid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plainwell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 94th minute, Sofiane Abdelghani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abd el Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plainwell's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
