The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Fodil El-Hadi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Lakhdar Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Brooksville's Ali Kaci Said ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ali Hamid Brahima. Ali Hamid Brahima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Polo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Madjer to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, Polo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Saïd-Guerni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Safy Hadjadj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Safy Hadjadj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Sadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Sadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safy Hadjadj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Polo FC's Ali Hamid Brahima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Polo FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 35 minutes, Ali Kaci Said managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooksville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kaci Said was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Brooksville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fodil El-Hadi to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Polo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fodil El-Hadi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ali Hamid Brahima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kaci Said, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Kaci Said stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Brooksville's Rachid Sadi got control of the ball when Safy Hadjadj tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Safy Hadjadj got free with Rachid Sadi in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brooksville's Redha Hanin suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 64 minutes, Hamid Saïd-Guerni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polo FC and the Brooksville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Polo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Saïd-Guerni to maneuver through the defense. Souad Yahia's late challenge caught a Polo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Souad Yahia helped the player get up and apologised. Souad Yahia kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Brooksville getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ali Kaci Said hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Noureddine Chebal shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Brooksville's Rachid Sadi to catch but Noureddine Chebal was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Fodil El-Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ali Hamid Brahima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fodil El-Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Safy Hadjadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Sadi having to interfere. Polo FC's Safy Hadjadj suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fathi Benida during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brooksville getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fathi Benida hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil El-Hadi in the 87th minute of play forced Polo FC's goalkeeper Ali Hamid Brahima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Kaci Said during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Brooksville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kaci Said to maneuver through the defense.
