Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merkel AFC's Yacine Bencheikh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Lakhdar El-Kenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Mamouni hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Havelock's Hakim Ramdani got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakim Ramdani in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Douibi saved Merkel AFC from getting behind. Ahmed Douibi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Ramdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Havelock were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Merkel AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faouzi Fillali took the corner. Faouzi Fillali made a great header on Havelock's corner, it was just that Merkel AFC's Ahmed Douibi managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Merkel AFC booed when Havelock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Kaci Said didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamid Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ahmed Douibi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Havelock's Mohammed Nabil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yacine Bencheikh in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Hamid Messaoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Douibi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Douibi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakim Ramdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Hamid Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ahmed Douibi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Havelock's Hakim Ramdani made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Douibi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hakim Ramdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Douibi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hamid Messaoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havelock's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Messaoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Douibi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakim Ramdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakim Ramdani in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Douibi saved Merkel AFC from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakim Ramdani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ali Mamouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmed Douibi made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hakim Ramdani sent off a good shot on target. Hamid Messaoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Ramdani in the 83rd minute of play forced Merkel AFC's goalkeeper Ahmed Douibi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakim Ramdani struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ahmed Douibi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Havelock. A collision led to Havelock getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Daho Belkhadem hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakim Ramdani got free with Ahmed Douibi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mansour Hamdoud made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Havelock's Nadir Hasni. The Merkel AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Havelock were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
