Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karim Badis started the match with the kick off. Nouredine Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bouzid Matmour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ali Bridji made a huge save. Boudjemaa Bouguerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthar Benflis in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bristow FC's zone, Nouredine Dahleb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boudjemaa Bouguerra came out of the goal and Nouredine Dahleb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anthar Benflis succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 21st minute, Anthar Benflis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covington AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Bristow FC booed when Covington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Louahla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Bouzid Matmour from a close distance when the talented Ali Bridji managed to make a qualified save. Covington AFC's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Bouzid Matmour got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Karim Badis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Bridji came out and tried to block the shot, but Karim Badis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 31st minute. Bouzid Matmour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Bridji read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ali Bridji made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bouzid Matmour sent off a good shot on target. Lakhdar Louahla charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lakhdar Louahla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Ali Said sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bristow FC's Boudjemaa Bouguerra didn't even have to move. After 46 played minutes Bristow FC got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Said. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nouredine Dahleb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudjemaa Bouguerra having to interfere. Anthar Benflis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Boudjemaa Bouguerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Covington AFC's Daniel Mecherara got a free kick in the 59th minute. Anthar Benflis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boudjemaa Bouguerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthar Benflis's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Nouredine Dahleb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Bouzid Matmour put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ali Bridji. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bouzid Matmour in the 79th minute of play forced Covington AFC's goalkeeper Ali Bridji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hocine Kafi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Badis in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Bridji prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boudjemaa Bouguerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthar Benflis in the 87th minute of play. Mohammed Badis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Covington AFC's Ali Said broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bouzid Matmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Bridji having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Bouzid Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bristow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bouzid Matmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Covington AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
