A collision led to Taliban FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sid Assad hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Taliban FC's zone, Ismael Feraoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Chitimia came out of the goal and Ismael Feraoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Feraoun got free with Andrei Chitimia in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Björklund in the 17th minute of play forced West St. Paul AFC's goalkeeper René Ulansi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Ulansi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Abrika in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, West St. Paul AFC's Konstantin Kochkarov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrei Chitimia was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Konstantin Kochkarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taliban FC's Tomas Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Tomas Björklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West St. Paul AFC's René Ulansi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khalida Belkhadem during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Khalida Belkhadem kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Björklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrei Chitimia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalida Belkhadem, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. West St. Paul AFC's René Ulansi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Björklund in the 51st minute of play. West St. Paul AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sid Assad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Despite this René Ulansi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Taliban FC made a substitution. Jussef Zerara replaced Sid Assad. After 86 played minutes West St. Paul AFC got a freekick which was hit by Yazid Hemdani. In the 87th minute, Taliban FC's Tomas Björklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind René Ulansi. René Ulansi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Taliban FC's Nordine Nasri got a free kick in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, West St. Paul AFC's Camel Djebbour tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Taliban FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
