Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cole Barnard took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Warren Bush managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Warren Bush was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Thurman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Thurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Hays, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cole Barnard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Brewer having to interfere. Rod Phillips fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Brewer having to interfere. Dennis Brewer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With 27 minutes on the clock, Fritz Reilly commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ashern AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Patrick Thurman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Hays, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Warren Bush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Patrick Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warren Bush recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Ashern AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gautier Chesnay. Patrick Thurman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Hays, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Forest Starks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ashern AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rod Phillips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rod Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Ashern AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Phillips couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perry Hays to make the kick off. Patrick Thurman made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Warren Bush sent off a good shot on target. Rod Phillips received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dennis Brewer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rod Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Matador got a freekick which was hit by Warren Bush. Matador's Warren Bush was, in the 63rd minute, rewarded a free kick which he blasted straight towards the goal. The goalkeeper seemed frozen by the shot, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went outside of the right post. Rod Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warren Bush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Thurman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Warren Bush in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Thurman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Perry Hays shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Thurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Forest Starks in the 80th minute of play. Matador's Warren Bush got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren Bush succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 90th playminute.
