Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Curtis Hong made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Ashern AFC's Rod Phillips sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darius Vincent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cole Barnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Darius Vincent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rod Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ashern AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Phillips couldn't finish the play. Onesime Labossière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darius Vincent acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clark Hobbs. When Anthony Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Highgate AFC's protests and gave Anthony Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Highgate AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Anthony Marquez hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes Highgate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camille Griffith. Ashern AFC's Cole Barnard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Highgate AFC's Brandon Morris got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ashern AFC's Fritz Reilly shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Darius Vincent but with some difficulty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cole Barnard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Highgate AFC's Darius Vincent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Barnard in the 52nd minute of play. Darius Vincent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Phillips in the 54th minute of the match. Patrick Thurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Curtis Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Ashern AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gautier Chesnay to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Highgate AFC's Brandon Morris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Thurman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Highgate AFC reached it. If Curtis Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Phillips's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darius Vincent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Darius Vincent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cole Barnard, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
