After some careless play in the Therien defense, Kirby Brunault kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kelly Landis. The Therien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kelly Landis should have stopped the shot. Kelly Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirby Brunault in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tommy Carter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Therien's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Carter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Abraham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kelly Landis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirby Brunault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Comax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Quessy to maneuver through the defense. Kelly Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Lilly in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Perceval Hodges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Abraham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Comax's goalkeeper Oliver Abraham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Carter. Tommy Carter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perceval Hodges to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliver Abraham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes, Modestine Riley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Therien and the Comax players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Comax booed when Therien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modestine Riley didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Therien's Kelly Landis got control of the ball when Jamal Lilly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Carter took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Abraham. Oliver Abraham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Oliver Abraham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Comax's goal looked a bit too open when Perceval Hodges came free, but Oliver Abraham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamal Lilly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kelly Landis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perceval Hodges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Abraham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Carter's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Jamal Lilly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Therien's Kelly Landis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirby Brunault in the 90th minute of play.
