Sedalia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Lincoln was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Holden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sedalia booed when Bridgewater AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Cottrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bridgewater AFC's Jerome Holden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Lincoln in the 18th minute of play. Sedalia's Christoper Lapresse managed to work through Bridgewater AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Christoper Lapresse dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 21 played minutes Bridgewater AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lester Pinneau. Lonny Patenaude in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blaine Holmes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Denny Obrien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerome Holden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Lincoln in the 32nd minute of play. Jerome Holden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Lincoln, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
