When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Mooyie FC's Tobias Kimble got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Antony MacDonald. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joesph Hanna during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mooyie FC's Joesph Hanna got a free kick in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Mooyie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ollie Baron came free, but Hugh Clarke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mooyie FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tobias Kimble hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Baron in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugh Clarke saved Mooyie FC from getting behind. Antione Neal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ollie Baron struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hugh Clarke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southey. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Weldon during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 63rd minute, Jim Pittman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léon Longoria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Esmé Belcher sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mooyie FC's Hugh Clarke didn't even have to move. In the 76th minute of the match Adolphe Shook sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antony MacDonald skillfully saved the ball. Hugh Clarke was a little too slow when Ollie Baron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. Léon Longoria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Hugh Clarke made a huge save. Hugh Clarke was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ollie Baron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ollie Baron really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 91st minute, Ollie Baron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Mooyie FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Mooyie FC's Cedrick Potter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
