When Virgilio Guy came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cormorant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Guy couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Thompson having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Calmar FC got a freekick which was hit by Drew Kurtz. Dale Jodion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Jodion made a kick off. Waylon Numbers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernand Coates having to make a save. Shaun McLeod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernand Coates having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Efren Larkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
