Bruno's Ernie Ford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bruno from getting a goal against them. When Harland Hubbard came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Bruno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harland Hubbard couldn't finish the play. Brownsburg's Randell Duhamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Coon in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Coon in the 91st minute of play forced Brownsburg's goalkeeper Randell Duhamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brownsburg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
