Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gene Soucy got the match started through his kick off. Carmen Dudley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lauren Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carmen Dudley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baptiste Burke kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Carmen Dudley came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Demers Beaulne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmen Dudley couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Baptiste Burke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmen Dudley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonavista's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Carmen Dudley scored to the left of an out of position Lauren Rankin, making the score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Lamar Perdue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bonavista's Gene Soucy in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Demers Beaulne's goalie prevented a goal. Gene Soucy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iréné Dawkins having to make a save. The supporters of Bonavista booed when Demers Beaulne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lynwood Merchant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onesime Haley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lauren Rankin firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Carmen Dudley took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Lauren Rankin to make any attempt to save it. 38 minutes into the match, Demers Beaulne's Carmen Dudley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lauren Rankin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmen Dudley to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Carmen Dudley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demers Beaulne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Carmen Dudley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauren Rankin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmen Dudley in the 59th minute of the match. Lauren Rankin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onesime Haley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Gene Soucy took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Iréné Dawkins to make any attempt to save it. After 75 minutes of play, Demers Beaulne's Carmen Dudley made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauren Rankin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryant Lovett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iréné Dawkins having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Bryant Lovett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonavista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryant Lovett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Demers Beaulne's goalkeeper Iréné Dawkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryant Lovett.
