After a rather tough play, Murdale FC's Papillion Lyon got a free kick in the 19th minute. Eric Phaneuf in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Moser, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Darren Guidry hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freeman Mullen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Douglastown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Erick Provencher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moser having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Diodore Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murdale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Lothaire Petersen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diodore Garcia in the 97th minute. The Douglastown fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Murdale FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
