Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thibault Manley took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Arlen Tatum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pennington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlen Tatum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dover's Robin Abrams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlen Tatum in the 5th minute of play. Thibault Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Dover getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lothaire Staples hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Arlen Tatum in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Thibault Manley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlen Tatum in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Abrams saved Dover from getting behind. Donte Gadbois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Rogelio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pennington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Austin Conner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pennington getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Austin Conner hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 50 minutes, Emerson Oneill successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Rogelio Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Robinson's late challenge caught a Dover's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Robinson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Alberto Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Rogelio Rodrigues notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dover's Robin Abrams. Robin Abrams was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dover's Thibault Manley in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pennington's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute, Rogelio Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Stapleton hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Emerson Oneill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Manley, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rogelio Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Abrams having to interfere. Thibault Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute Thibault Manley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Oneill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pennington's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
