When Firmin Faucher came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Leslieville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Firmin Faucher couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Moha AFC's zone, Gustave Jenkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Gabriaux came out of the goal and Gustave Jenkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustave Jenkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Gabriaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Boyce Merritt charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyce Merritt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Moha AFC. Clemente Duncan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Léon Clément. 0-1. Isidro Chase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Moha AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rey Guerra hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Gustave Jenkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leslieville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustave Jenkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Firmin Faucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Firmin Faucher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Gabriaux was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Leslieville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coy Poe to maneuver through the defense. Moha AFC's Keenan Orr got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustave Jenkins made a kick off. In the 56th minute Gustave Jenkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Gabriaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Chase who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Léon Clément when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isidro Chase took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léon Clément. Léon Clément dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Edgard Gabriaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leslieville's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Keenan Orr 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 73 minutes into the game, Ward Andrews was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leslieville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moha AFC the free kick. In the 80th minute, Leslieville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidro Chase fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leslieville's Léon Clément played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Orr in the 88th minute of play. Isidro Chases short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Léon Clément to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 94 minutes, Keenan Orr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keenan Orr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Léon Clément tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
