Brian Solomon's late challenge caught a NDG United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Solomon helped the player get up and apologised. If Gregorio Naylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignace Mullins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herschel Strange in the 28th minute. If Alexandre Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hank Gustafson to make the kick off. NDG United's Ignace Mullins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herschel Strange in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Cumberland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwain Begay to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes in the game, Hank Gustafson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilton Smalls having to interfere. Raymundo Garrett's late challenge caught a Cumberland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hank Gustafson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alexandre Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
