After a rather tough play, Gaskiers's Esmé Macias got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adolph McAllister struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jarvis Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apsley FC. If Duncan Grace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarvis Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Grace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apsley FC's Taylor Epperson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Apsley FC from getting a goal against them. Taylor Epperson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philibert Lloyd in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Apsley FC got a freekick which was hit by Dion Darling. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philibert Lloyd in the 26th minute of play forced Apsley FC's goalkeeper Taylor Epperson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Fernand Goins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apsley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernand Goins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarvis Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Apsley FC got a freekick which was hit by Cory Weldon. Reginald Robbins's late challenge caught a Gaskiers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginald Robbins helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apsley FC's Reginald Robbins got a free kick in the 35th minute. Taylor Epperson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philibert Lloyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Apsley FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lindsay Figueroa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 44 minutes, Daniel Lachance mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apsley FC and the Gaskiers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, one of Apsley FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apsley FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duncan Grace was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apsley FC's zone, Lindsay Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taylor Epperson came out of the goal and Lindsay Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Basil Ly fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaskiers's protests and gave Basil Ly a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gaskiers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Adolph McAllister placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 64th minute of the match Daniel Lachance shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarvis Robinson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Apsley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Philibert Lloyd came free, but Taylor Epperson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duncan Grace in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarvis Robinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cory Weldon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaskiers's Jarvis Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernand Goins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jarvis Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarvis Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernand Goins in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Mckinley Edmondson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
