In the 10th minute Emmanuel Nesbitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor Epperson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Emmanuel Nesbitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codette FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Nesbitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Epperson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Codette FC's Horacio Winston got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taylor Epperson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Winston in the 17th minute of the match. Fernand Goins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Horacio Winston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codette FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Winston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Epperson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Winston in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Kendall Babin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Codette FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apsley FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Codette FC's Horacio Winston got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Apsley FC booed when Codette FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armel Gervais didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Codette FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kendall Babin hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Winston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emmanuel Nesbitt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taylor Epperson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Codette FC's goalkeeper Tyree Dionne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apsley FC's Taylor Epperson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Apsley FC from getting a goal against them. Hugues Barrow kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dane Bernard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Codette FC booed when Apsley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolph McAllister didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Horacio Winston fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Horacio Winston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codette FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Winston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taylor Epperson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Apsley FC's Taylor Epperson got control of the ball when Emmanuel Nesbitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Codette FC played a much better game than Apsley FC and deserved their victory. The Apsley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
