Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marlon Harrell made the kick off which started today's match. Thierry Lynch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Harrell in the 4th minute of play. Constantin Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sung Vertefeuille having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Antonio Lowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thierry Lynch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apollinaire Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Chauvin booed when Alberta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Dalton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apollinaire Hudson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thierry Lynch. Thierry Lynch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thierry Lynch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apollinaire Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apollinaire Hudson in the 24th minute of play forced Alberta FC's goalkeeper Thierry Lynch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donatien Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thierry Lynch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Harrell in the 29th minute of the match. Nathaniel Finch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cory Good fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chauvin's protests and gave Cory Good a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chauvin getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cory Good hit a great ball. If Nathaniel Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nathaniel Finch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alberta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathaniel Finch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sung Vertefeuille breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Apollinaire Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Lynch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thierry Lynch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Harrell in the 40th minute of the match. If Antonio Lowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathaniel Finch made a kick off. Nathaniel Finch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sung Vertefeuille read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chauvin's Apollinaire Hudson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thierry Lynch. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. Constantin Dalton hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Antonio Lowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donatien Koehler's late challenge caught a Alberta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donatien Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Alberta FC's Thierry Lynch got control of the ball when Apollinaire Hudson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thierry Lynch was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Apollinaire Hudson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apollinaire Hudson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Alberta FC's Nathaniel Finch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sung Vertefeuille narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantin Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sung Vertefeuille having to interfere. Wyatt Amireau helped the player get up and apologised.
