Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dobermans's Rudolf Charlesbois started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobermans's Bertram Saindon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Woodward in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Warren Woodward's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertram Saindon was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Jimmie Kenny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dobermans getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dean Hemphill hit a great ball. Dobermans's Bertram Saindon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Woodward in the 17th minute of play. When Jimmie Kenny came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Gascons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmie Kenny couldn't finish the play. Bertram Saindon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Kenny in the 25th minute of the match. Gascons's Jimmie Kenny got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Warren Woodward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bertram Saindon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Jimmie Kenny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gascons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Kenny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Warren Woodward cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bertram Saindon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Dobermans's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Woodward came free, but Bertram Saindon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmie Kenny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bertram Saindon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Warren Woodward to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Bertram Saindon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jimmie Kenny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertram Saindon having to interfere. Warren Woodward might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertram Saindon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Warren Woodward ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobermans's Bertram Saindon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Dobermans from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Jimmie Kenny dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertram Saindon, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warren Woodward in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bertram Saindon saved Dobermans from getting behind. Jimmie Kenny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dobermans's goalkeeper Bertram Saindon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Warren Woodward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Gascons left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dobermans.
