With splendid footwork Dalton Benjamin arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Cliff Knapp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hopewell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chester the free kick. Hayden Larson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton Benjamin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 24 played minutes Hopewell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Knapp. Hayden Larson made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Emmitt Compton sent off a good shot on target. Duncan Devoe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Fischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayden Larson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalton Benjamin in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Zachary Fischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hopewell AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Fischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duncan Devoe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Pryor, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cliff Knapp kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Emmitt Compton struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Hayden Larson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chester. Dalton Benjamin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hayden Larson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmitt Compton in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Zachary Fischer made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chester getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Theron Aubé hit a great ball. Zachary Fischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Devoe having to interfere. Ramon Brault charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Brault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Chester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Brault to maneuver through the defense. Lenard Temple hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Chester's Julian Bray broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Dalton Benjamin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hopewell AFC's Hayden Larson. Hayden Larson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vito Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Emmitt Compton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Larson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayden Larson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Chester's Dalton Benjamin. But to his dismay, Dalton Benjamin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Hopewell AFC's Hayden Larson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmitt Compton in the 91st minute of play. Emmitt Compton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hayden Larson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hopewell AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oren Cabrera hit a great ball. Emmitt Compton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
